Timeshare Resale Industry Hit Hard
If this is not an eye opener to the state of Florida showing just how bad the timeshare resale industry is, then we do not know what is. These timeshare resale companies move from office to office, changing names, websites, phone numbers to try and hide their identity to keep operating. They collect upfront fee’s calling them various things from marketing fees, advertising fees, appraisal fees, and more to keep their merchant account happy and not lock them out from processing credit cards. Not to mention by making these changes as often as some of these timeshare scam companies do, they hide in the shadows and continue to prey on innocent timeshare owners who are truly looking to sell or even rent their timeshare property.
If and when more information is available regarding the timeshare companies involved in these raids, we will post them on the site. You may view images of one raid that took place on Lake Ellenor Drive at WFTV’s website.
